Erica Ashley, based in Raleigh, NC, is a self-taught artist who brings a unique perspective to her work. What sets her apart is her professional engineering license, adding an interesting dimension to her artistic journey. Her passion for art has been present since childhood, and she still vividly remembers her first drawing contest victory in 1st grade. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Auburn University Erica moved to Raleigh with her husband and took her first job as an engineer.  Erica took a leap of faith and left her corporate job as a professional transportation engineer to dedicate herself entirely to her art. As a follower of Jesus, she is grateful to Him for the opportunity to do what she loves and share it with others.

Growing up surrounded by strong, independent women has had a profound impact on Erica's personal life and career as an artist. She has two young children and are inspired by their creativity and wonder everyday. Acrylics and oils are her preferred mediums, and she strives to achieve balance and harmony in her work through vibrant colors and captivating patterns. As she starts this new chapter in her life, Erica expresses heartfelt gratitude for the support she receives and eagerly anticipates what lies ahead!
